Drive Systems engineering - geartrain team

The new Model S Plaid is the quickest production car ever built. I delivered results across a number of projects within the Plaid program:

• Managed a test bench setup to characterize the mechanical resistance of a new prototype mechanism

• Served as the technical point of contact for suppliers bidding for a multi-million-dollar contract

• Ran component-level tests of BLDC and stepper motor samples

• Developed a cost prediction model for involute gears and pinions to inform future geartrain designs

• Developed a dynamic mechanical simulation of a geartrain impact using ANSYS and MATLAB

• Supported dynamometer testing of prototype drive units
