Streamlining the manufacturing process
At Lexington Medical, I am responsible for designing, manufacturing, and testing an automated riveting machine for our endoscopic stapler’s head. This fixture must orient, singulate, transport, and install very small custom rivets and drive them into the stapler with highly repeatable results.
The Aeon Endostapler
A reload for the stapler. My fixture is responsible for driving the pin rivet which controls the hinge on the reload.
