At Cruise, GM’s self-driving unit, I worked on a team developing the “Owl”, a custom actuator for high volume production.

This project required a thorough understanding of our constraints and environment. I worked on developing a thermal solution for sensors that would meet strict reliability standards.

Skills employed:

• Design for high volume production and automotive specification

• Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing

• Thermal system design

• Engineering communication and teamwork

At the end of my internship, my team’s presentation was voted “Demo of the Week” by a company-wide poll.
