A labor of love.
This is my favorite photo of me and the bike. The first summer I had it, I tore it apart to check some early tasks off my to-do list. This photo was taken late at night after spending hours trying to figure out why the turn signal wasn’t working.

The simple task of replacing this exhaust gasket went horribly wrong. One of the exhaust bolts broke off, and then the bolt extractor broke too! I had to drop the engine of the bike, build a jig to hold it on a drill press, and drill the whole thing out. What a nightmare…
